Here at Fresh Betty Outdoors…
We believe that the body’s connection with land, nature, and cycles of change can’t be understated, and are often ignored.
We provide a connection to the self, the body, and nature that assists you in being in the flow of life and trusting that flow.
Have You Ever…
Felt overwhelmed, anxious, and consumed with the day to day pace of life?
Thought that if you could get into nature for a few hours, you might feel better?
Had a feeling of disconnection, even though you might be surrounded by people?
If so, you’re not alone! So many people are feeling this way.
I’m here to help.
I can help you reconnect to who you are.
You are intrinsically connected to nature, even if you don’t realize it. Your body runs on cycles, just like nature.
Here, there’s no judgment for what you don’t know.
If we haven’t met, I’m Sonja.
As I’ve grown older, I place a high value on the quieter and simple things life offers, yet are deep with connection and beauty. A walk amongst the trees, sitting on the rocks of Lake Superior, the crackle of a campfire, leaves rustling in a breeze.
I believe that access to nature and the outdoors is necessary for feeling connected, grounded, and tuned into yourself, your purpose, and the world.
Today’s world is more connected than ever, yet we are more DISCONNECTED than ever before! Our dependence on technology and the touch-of-a-button convenience it provides has contributed to a sense of disconnection with the natural world and our relationship with it. Technology can be addictive and consuming, with notifications coming in that make you feel compelled to check.
All Five Element Outdoors adventures, classes, and events are designed with the intention of transformation or growth for each person who shows up and that it has the ability to create a deeper connection with who they are as a person through the beauty and power of nature.
I am inviting you to come outside with me and become a true Force of Nature.
xoxo
Fun Facts About Sonja
I’m a Navy veteran and got to do some really cool stuff like transit through the Panama Canal, cross the equator at sea, and swim in the MIDDLE of the Caribbean Sea (for REAL)!
I lived in Australia for a year when I was a kid. AMAZING EXPERIENCE.
I’ve lived and experienced adventures in many different landscapes, each with unique beauty.
I've had many EPIC FAILS in the outdoors. Every failure keeps me coming back to try it again until I've faced the fear or overcome the barrier, resistance, bad weather, or whatever it was that had me admit defeat the first time.
These adventures have shaped who I am. I love to lead adventures that can help women awaken their own confidence, courage, & leadership.
I always retreat to nature when I feel uneasy, ungrounded, and unsure. I know, without a doubt, that nature will always bring me back to who I really am because sometimes I forget and fall into habits that don’t help me move forward positively. Getting outdoors is like a compass that always brings me back to where I’m meant to be!
